The Marcliffe is frequently praised for its luxurious and comfortable atmosphere, especially within its spacious rooms featuring large, comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms with separate showers and baths. Guests often enjoy the delicious meals, including vegan and vegetarian options, served in the outstanding restaurant, sometimes accompanied by piano music in the evenings. While some guests have noted that the rooms can appear slightly dated, the overall experience, especially the convenient car park round the back of the hotel, makes it a memorable stay.
